Virunga
National Park

Project details

Virunga National Park is one of the most bio-diverse places in Africa and is known for it’s chain of active volcanoes, lust nature and also the home for the remaining mountain gorillas. It’s a symbol for the pride, hope and livelihood for millions of Congolese people.

The conflicts in DRC are a complex situation, and the park needed a website that could communicate the many ongoing projects that are taking place in the park. I was fortunate enough to travel to the DRC and conduct interviews with the park rangers, widows and park director, Emmanuel De Merode.
