Feeld was one of the first dating apps that allowed individuals to search for partners outside of traditional gender, sexuality, and relationship dynamics. With the mission to create a safe and inclusive environment, Feeld needed to scale their newly-created visual identity and ethos into their digital product.
Feeld rebrand
Feeld reached out and asked for help to visualize and create a new version of the existing app, but with a visual direction and UX aligned with their new brand identity.
Swiping
"Swiping" can lead to a more transactional and superficial dating app experience. We substituted swiping with "plus" and "minus" buttons to help the user pause and create a more intentional selection process.
Feeld was also one of the first dating apps to introduce the option to date as a couple. This meant we needed to imagine an experience from scratch that expanded beyond one-to-one dating to which users were accustomed.
Since the engagement, Feeld has reached 10,000s of people worldwide and positioned itself as the number one dating app for alternative relationships. It has helped usher in broader acceptance of non-traditional ways to relate and love.
